Chester Blues extended their winning streak to 4 games with an impressive 6 – 1 win on Saturday. Currently in 5th place, that should move them up a position or two. The games started positively with Noah Jackson being played through 3 times but unfortunately the keeper made two good saves and one shot flying past the post. Shortly after that Noah scored two goals the first stealing the ball from the opposition, the second he was placed clean through from a clinical ball from Josh Craig. Taylor Welch was called upon saving a shot that was destined for the top corner with a mighty leap that any salmon would have been proud with. The opponents then pulled one back with a nice move firing in the bottom left. That goal prompted a resurgence from Chester and with Toby Collinson driving from defence and from long range smashing it in the bottom right making it 3 – 1 at half time. The second half saw a dominant performance with further goals from Joseph Chapman-Ward and 2 from Louis Slevin-Bradley. Josh and Evan Dawson came close on a few occasion but we thwarted by the defence. Man of the Match went to Toby for his strong performance in defence. Continuing the winning run ment another water fight Josh suffering at the hands of Evan. Next week Wes watch out!
