UNDER 8 LIONS REMAIN UNTAMED

Chester-le-Street U8 Lions made it four wins out of four this morning.  Another comprehensive victory which was once again the result of excellent teamwork. It’s hard to believe that they have only been together for about 6 weeks. The goals today came from the usual suspects.  Jake O’Shaughnessy scored 3 and hit the bar and the post and McKenzie Wilkinson and George McDonald both scored two each. The last goal came from the left foot of Gabriel Eccleston with a cool finish. Once again James Oliver was at the heart of all the action and was desperately unlucky not to score. Fionn Donnelly and Leon Rose also battled well throughout and again were also unlucky not to score.

The Man of the match award went to Fionn Donnelly.
