A WIN DESPITE A SLOW START FROM THE HOOPS.

Another win for the Under 11 Hoops but it was a slow start to the game from them and yet again they had no subs.
Hoops found themselves 1-0 down after a couple of minutes of play then a realisation set in and the Hoops piled on the pressure but couldn’t find the net. Then a cracking header from Charlie Nightingale saw the hoops back in the game.
The Hoops took the lead after a great run the second coming from the man in the middle Alex Dodgson.
Yet again the opposition came straight back at the hoops and equalised with a high shot on goal.Keeper Daniel Baines then made a cracking save to stop the opposition taking the lead.
The Hoops must have had 10 shots on goal 5 possibly coming from the little lady Philippa Hunter but wasn’t to be her day thanks to the post, crossbar and outstanding goal keeping.  Callum Brandford again displayed great skill. Parent’s got right behind the Hoops giving them the lift they needed just in time to see Chopper(Kris Clark) putting his name on the score sheet.  A great run from Xander Parkinson down the right and a great volley sealed the win it for the hoops.
Outstanding cover at the back came from Jacob Bull and Chris Storey displaying how calm and in control they are displaying what football is about (enjoyment).
