Chester le Street Town U12’s continued their excellent run of form with their third consecutive win in the local derby with Waldridge Glanton last night. Despite taking the lead thanks to a George Farrington goal, the Chester struggled with the windy conditions. The Waldridge lads taking full advantage to take a 2-1 lead into the half time break.
With the wind now behind them Chester produced an excellent second half with some fantastic attacking play. Dylan Bruce deservedly equalising to make it 2-2. Further Chester Town goals including efforts from, Bailey Capes, Finley Gamble and Kamil Slowiak began to take the game away from Waldridge
However Waldridge kept the Chester Town defence on their toes, and continued to look dangerous on the break. They were able to add a couple more goals themselves. However the Chester Town keeper Jacob Mills produced confident saves to makes sure the Chester Town lads finished the game with a final score of Waldridge Glanton 4 Chester le Street Town 7 Well done once again boys.
