Good performance by Under 9 Blues

Chester Town Blues Under 9s drew 2-2 today against a good opposition. Both teams played some fantastic football and had it not been for a fine performance from their goalkeeper and the woodwork  the score line would have been much different. We were unlucky to go in at half time one nil down. Leon Smith starting up top worked his socks off and some great work from Max Sewell, Oli Snowdon and Ev Smith kept the game alive. Katy Garaway proved again that she is improving week on week with some great touches. George Bell made some important saves at crucial points in the game.Toby Bell scored both our goals his first come after some fine work from Henry Daglish down the left hand side. Henry broke from the half way line beat one and played a lovely through ball to the feet of Toby who took one touch and smashed the ball past the keeper. The second was pretty similar some great link up play from Henry, Charlie Adamson and Cole Robson who laid it on to Toby who finished emphatically. A massive mention must go to Johnathan Buckton, Seth Atkinson and man of the Angus Smith who were absolutely immense at the back today. Again for me the more Johnathan is playing the more his confidence is growing. On another day it would have been 10. #Development
