GREAT WIN FOR UNDER 7 BLUES

Chester le Street Under 7 Blues went into their last game before the summer break this morning. Having not won a game in their first season they were all fired up. Chester started brightly and soon won a corner. Oliver Heathcoate whipped in a cross which beat the keeper and went in off the post.

The opposition came back and scored twice in quick succession making it 2-1. Still in the first half and Chester got another corner. Oliver was first to step up to take it and it was just like watching a replay Oliver scoring again from a corner…. take a bow. Joshua Hall then went on a mazy run and was fouled resulting in a penalty. Josh coolly slotted the penalty into the bottom corner making the score 3-2 to Chester.

Chester piled on the pressure pressing the ball with Jay Ellison  scoring twice from the left hand side carrying the ball and slotting it home. Oscar Ward battling up front added to the score line with his hard work chasing every loose ball. The opposition had chances however Theo Cole and Benjamin Craig prevented them adding to their two goals.

Finally George Bradgate collected the ball and ran past 3 players and placed a driven shot into the bottom corner. This was a great performance from the lads and a sign of things to come.
