LIONS CLAW BACK A POINT

Chester le Street Town U8 Lions started very sloppy today and were 3-0 down after 5 minutes with keeper Mckenzie Wilkinson having no chance. That seemed to kick the lions into gear as they then started to attack good runs from deep from Oliver Loan and battling from Leon Rose gave Jake O’Shaugnessy the chance and he took it well to put the lions back in the game.
Then a brillaint passing play from the Lions had Gaberiel Ecclestone slide in James Oliver who continued his goal scoring form and the Lions were back in the game.
The lions went for the equalizer before half time with shots from George Mcdonald blocked 3-2 Ht.
Lions continued to press in the second half with everyone apart from Fionn Donnely in their half. The lions got there deserved equaliser from Mckenzie Wilkinson poking home from tight angle. Lions then pushed everyone foward to try and push for that winner but couldnt find that winning goal
3-3 FT.
MOTM Gaberiel Ecclestone picked from there coach for key passing and composure
And Jake O’Shaughnessy for goals and assist to bring Lions back
Well done lions
