An outstanding performance today by Chester le Street Town U11 Hoops.  Despite a small blizzard and heavy snow and with only 9 men due to holidays the team did themselves proud.  A own goal opened the score for the Hoops but soon to follow a cracking shot from Alex Dodgson, who’s becoming the one watch, saw the hoops go 2 up.

The Hoops let their guard down allowing  the opposition back in the game 2/1.    Daniel Baines stepped in his old shoes as kepper today and what an outstanding save he made to keep the scores level. This gave the hoops a wake up call and two further goals  from Kris Clark eased all the worries and to seal it Callum Brandford hit home a 5th from the edge of the box.

Outstanding game  from Jacob Bull(showing the coolest feet in chester),  Harry Duncan who obviously had his wheatabix today and little Chris. Both had strong games in defence.  Xander Parkinson was kept off the score sheet only by some tremendous goalkeeping.

Parents Man of the match went to Philippa Hunter for her continuous hard work throughout the game. Final score 5-2 to the Hoops.
