CHESTER LE STREET U-13’s 0-5 FARRINGDON DETACHED U-13’S                                                                                                 The lads’ tough start to the season continued with a 5-0 reverse to Farringdon Detached.  However nobody can question the teams effort and determination this morning which was evident throughout the game. The lads having to play the full game with 10 men again, which obviously doesn’t help.

After last weeks result. The lads seemed to focus more on defending, with Billy Hamilton working tirelessly upfront on his own. It was a much improved performance with the lads fighting and scrapping for every ball. Despite this the lads went into the half time break 3-0 down.

Chester le Street were better offensively in the second half. Billy Hamilton, Adam Gardner and Dylan Bruce starting to cause the opposition problems in the final third. Billy Hamilton unlucky with a free kick which struck the bar.

Jacob Mills also deserves a mention as he pulled off a couple of brilliant saves, and man of the match Kai Cowey who showed great energy and attitude throughout the game.

However it wasn’t enough to stop Farringdon adding a couple more goals in the second half to give them a 5-0 win today.

SQUAD: Jacob, Bailey, Fenton, Shaun, Luke, KAI (MOM) George, Dylan, Adam, Billy.
