U14’s win last league game of the season

Chester-le-Street Town U14’s were away to East Durham for the last league game of the season and ran out 4-1 winners. The lads played some nice football passing around well and soon opened the scoring with Adam Gibson sliding the ball between the defenders for Oliver Jackson to slot home. East Durham had their chances but Matty Reynoldson was making some great saves to keep us ahead.
2nd half was much of the same when Adam Gibson was provider again for Oliver Sullivan to cooly bring the ball down and fire home 2-0 Chester.
East Durham pulled a goal back soon after but then Chester stepped up a gear and Oliver Sullivan slid through the keepers legs after a defensive mix up. Blake Williamson nearly made it 4 but his turn and shot came back off the post. Final 5 minutes and Chester did get a 4th Oliver Sullivan completing his hat trick.
Today showed what the lads are capable off and I would just like to say thank you to each of the lads that have gave 100% all season I am extremely proud and have enjoyed coaching a great set of lads who are a credit to the club.
