U7 Blues Fight Back

Chester Town U7 Blues won today 3-2 in a close game against a determined opposition.

Early pressure saw Chester 1-0 down , but great work from Freddie Barron with a long ball helped Ben Sharp notch his first goal as he coolly slotted from close range.

Strong displays from Amy Burlison and Kai Duffy in midfield created chances to score , but a bullet shot from the opposition saw Chester behind again 2-1.

Fear not! Chester dug in with Harry Holmes and James Sharp bossing the midfield and defence with supporting work from Adam Abdullah who worked tirelessly until he got his rewards and scored a great equaliser by pushing forward in numbers and side footing the opportunistic chance just out of reach of the keeper 2-2 and nervous times for the coaches.

Some great saves from Freddie again meant Chester had a chance and kept our chins up, could we take it though?????

End to end stuff Shots and Saves galore from both teams.

Adam cleared off the line tremendously to save Chester and then with 3 mins to go Ben battled through a busy defence to smash in the winner and his second of the game.

It finished 3-2 Chester and still unbeaten.
