Chester started brightly and named a full Attendance squad for this important first game of the Season.

Jack Kelly was The new Keeper and ready to establish himself as the first name on the team sheet.

James Sharp was determined not to be left out of things at the back, and within seconds we had carved through the opposition with a Kai Duffy,
Adam Abdullah and Lincoln Borthwick passing masterclass…
culminating in a James Sharp howitzer into the top stanchion 1-0.

After early foraging attacks Ben Sharp smashed through the defence to join his Brother on the score sheet..
notch and 2-0.

Harry Holmes was imperious throughout the game, taking no prisoners and covering all areas, ensuing a strong defensive result.

Ben Sharp received a ball on the edge of the box, facing the wrong way he swivelled and slotted with aplomb
3-0 and a bit of class from the young gargantuan.

The 2nd half began…

Freddie Barron was the enforcer with his physicality tilting the scales in our favour..

Jack Kelly took more hits than a Mike Tyson punch bag today, courageous and strong in the challenge, safe hands, good distribution and dominating the box well thus ensuring a confident team ahead of him.

Ben Sharp was not content with 2 goals
And let fly after breaking up a midfield scrum and left them tasting his dust as he unloaded a bullet shot into the upper stanchion lifting the goal off its holding pins!

4-0 and Boom…

The Second half was tighter with less opportunities and more attacking aggression from our opponents.

the opposition’s goal 2 minutes from the end was a shock and a reminder of how Football can swiftly change with momentum..

4-1 was the final score,
