Chester-le-Street U8 Blues winning run continued on Saturday when the team pulled off another victory 5 – 2. The scoring started early from a corner from Louie Slevin-Bradley and Joshua Craig placing a controlled left foot volley into the far corner. Then it became the Louie show with a quick first half hattrick, the first came from a solo dribble and a quality finish, second Louie sold a defender with a drag back and slotted home them finally goal of the match with a Cantona style lob that nestled in the back of the net the only thing missing was the Cantona pose to the crowd. After the fast start the game became messy with the match been played predominantly in the blues half. Centre halves Toby Collinson and Evan Dawson made many telling challenges and shot blocks with Taylor Welch saving several goal bound shots and on occasions making double and treble save. Joseph Chapman-Ward,  Noah Jackson and Cohen Mickle were unyielding in their roles in the middle of the park both pushing forward and defending with the eventual 5th goal coming from Cohen after a long ball dissected the opponents defence. Chester had several other chances but failed to convert. Man of the Match went to Louise for a fabulous hattrick.

Below are the Chester Blues in their new strip. They are desperate to get a team sponsor so if you would like no more about sponsoring the team contact Dave 07787132847.
