Chester-le-Street U8 Blues are enjoying a 3 game winning streak which has seen them rise form the lower half of the table into a position pushing for promotion. They won 9 – 2 yesterday. Louis Slevin-Bradley was Captian for the game and won the toss, and straight from the kick off pressed high and Noah Jackson scored 2 early goals. The opposition made a quick come back making it 2 – 1 but from that moment it was all Chester Blues with Louis scoring 2, Cohen Mickle scoring 2 and Noah finally claiming 5 goals and Man of the Match. The great result was built from the back with Taylor Welch and Toby Collinson having stand up performances like Peta Cech and John Terry Chelsea of old. Josh Craig and Joseph Chapman-Ward played vital roles in the middle of the park providing assists and stemming all advances from the opposition. It was an all round team performance with an excellent water fight at the end, well done Chester Blues.
