U9 Whites claim 2nd win of the season!

The U9 Whites continued their great start to the new season with their 2nd win in as many matches.

After a goalless first 10 mins, an excellent cross by Kris on the right was met on the half volley by Grayson who rifled it into the roof of the net. Charlie then whipped in a low corner that evaded everyone and went straight in to double Chester’s lead. Shortly after, Grayson doubled his tally for the game with a well struck shot from outside the box before Cameron scored his 1st goal for the Whites after his recent signing to give Chester a 4-0 lead at HT.

After the break, the referee missed a handball from an oppositionĀ  corner and unfortunately were able to pull a goal back whilst the Chester players were appealing. Confidence took a brief knock and the opposition were able to pull a further 2 goals back. However, Chester regained control of the game when Grayson rounded off his hat trick. Kris then chested in a corner from the right and after a brilliant, tight angled finish from Brooklyn, Grayson picked up the ball just inside Chester’s half on the right, drove to the edge of the box where he scored his 4th and Chester’s 8th goal of the game with a superb top corner finish.

The game ended 8-3 and there was great performances also from Angus, Chris and Harry who stopped numerous attacks and started many of ours. Nathan had a relatively quiet day but did have to make to great saves, one in which he pushed a shot away to the right from a point blank range shot.

MOM this week was Grayson.

Well done U9 Whites!
