Whites maintain 100% record

Chester Under 12s Whites maintained their 100% win record for the season with an excellent performance at home against Byers Green Bees.

In far better conditions than last week’s 4-1 home win against Whiteleas Allstars, Chester started brightly with Jay in his new boots slotting home from outside the box. The second came soon after with some good work from Matt to keep the ball in play and a pin point cross picked out Jay on the back post to head home to score his and the team’s second of the day.

With the Whites firmly in control of the game, some good work from Sam on the right cut back to Kian who floated in a good cross for Alfie finish to make it 3-0. Following a push in the box a penalty was awarded to Chester, unfortunately the ball was blazed over the bar. Not to be deterred the Whites grabbed a fourth before half time and it was the boy with the new boots who got it with Jay scoring to complete his hat-trick.

The second half got underway and it was Byers turn to be awarded a penalty, but a good save from Robin turned the ball over the bar. Matt grabbed a fifth for the Whites and searching for another he was fouled in the box, third time lucky for penalties… well unfortunately not as the this one was also well saved by the Byers keeper!

As the game was drawing to an end Byers scored a goal on the break to takeaway what would have been a deserved clean sheet for the lads.

This result made it seven wins out of seven in the league (and one in the cup). Jay was awarded Man of the Match.
